About Me
I’m a neurobiology PhD student at Purdue University, with prior graduate work at the University of Southern California and the University of Chicago. My research focuses on the molecular mechanisms behind depression, but my writing lets me explore the emotional landscapes that science can’t always explain—rage, inheritance, identity, and the quiet brutality of survival.
As an autistic woman, I write through the lens of sensory experience, obsession, and emotional intensity, and my stories often walk the line between the mythic and the deeply personal.
Kingdom of the Sun is my debut novel—an adult fantasy about a royal daughter sold into divine captivity, forced to choose whether reclaiming her legacy is worth becoming something monstrous. When I’m not writing or researching, I’m gaming, rereading The Hunger Games, or tending to my lavender plants.
